We are the offspring of God; the God who created the universe, the earth and all that is in them about six thousand years ago. God is all-good and all good comes from Him. There is none good but God. God has complete power and authority over all that He created. Everything including our life, breath and sustenance flow from Him. In Him we live and move and have our being. Everything God created was good.

God created the first man and women, the mother and father of us all, completely good, in His own image, because He desired to enter into intimate love union with them. God gave them one rule. They chose to disobey God’s rule, to disconnect from and to live independently from Him. Union with God is good. Separation from God is evil. As a result of their choice to disobey and separate themselves from God, they became evil and all of creation was cursed. Their evil nature [their choice to live separated from God] has been inherited by all their offspring, all of mankind.

God’s desire to be in intimate union with us has never ceased and yet God is good and He cannot enter into union with evil. We are incapable of making ourselves good. God, however, made the Way for us to be recreated completely good, so that He may live in intimate love union with us. The Way is God Incarnate, Christ Jesus, in whom all the fullness of the Godhead (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) dwells in bodily form. Christ Jesus became a man so that He Himself might die in union with all those who would yield themselves into union with Him on the cross. Through this union with Christ Jesus in His death [co-crucifixion with Him] God put to death our evil self.

As it has been historically proven, God resurrected Jesus three days after His death. Just as we have entered into death in union as one with Christ Jesus [co-crucifixion], we are also resurrected to new life with Him, in union as one with Him in His resurrection [co-resurrection], as a completely good new creation. That’s what baptism into the name of Christ Jesus is all about: co-death, co-entombment, and co-resurrection in eternal inseparable intimate love union as one with Him.

On the cross Christ Jesus said, “it is finished.” He finished the work of making us good, by bringing us into intimate union as one with Himself in His death, entombment and resurrection. To be born again, a good new creation, we simply surrender ourselves into union as one with Him, into co-crucifixion, co-entombment and co-resurrection with Him. Through our co-death and co-entombment with Jesus, our old evil self was put to death and completely removed. Through our co-resurrection with Christ Jesus we were raised a completely good new creation in eternal inseparable intimate love union as one with God.

The very moment we believe [trust so much that we surrender every part of our entire being to the wishes and control of and union with] Christ Jesus into co-crucifixion with Him, our evil self becomes extinct and we are raised to a new life with Him, as a completely good new creation in blissful eternal inseparable intimate union as one with God.
